Cinema and interior design

In the film Fanny and Alexander of Bergman we can see different furniture in Gustavian style, this kind of interior is typical in the escandinavian country houses.
In this case the color palete is hot, the decor is delicate and simple, all perfectly lit by the director.
I think that the gustavian style is a backgroud of the Shabby Chic style, that we can found in the Rocaille style and also in the Victorian style. But the different is in the gustavian style the color pallete is te same of the shabby.

During the 19 century the Gustavian find inspiring in the french  furniture, rocaille and rococo. This kind of furniture was transformer of the escandinavian style using a new type of color, more relaxing and femle. In the beginning the colors are more hot but in the middle of the century the was a transformation in the pastel colors.
